Meet The Founder

HERC HR was founded by Jannah Bachrouche (she/her) after six years as a startup operator, where she naturally gravitated toward People/HR responsibilities and roles.

Jannah’s experiences as a queer, Lebanese, cis woman showed her how rare safe and inclusive workplaces truly are—especially in tech. While Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging (DEIB) have become part of the conversation, many companies still lack the foundational tools for meaningful, scalable, and non-performative change.

Jannah believes investing in HR early is essential. As companies grow, so do the complexities of managing people, culture, retention, and leadership. Without solid foundations, hyper-growth can lead to systemic issues.
